Indiana Pro Bono Legal Services Contract

This contract (« Contract ») is entered into as of the date of the last signature below by and between the undersigned parties.

Parties Representation
Indiana Legal Aid Society, Inc. Hereinafter referred to as « ILAS » and providing pro bono legal services to eligible individuals in the state of Indiana.
Pro Bono Attorney Hereinafter referred to as the « Attorney », offering legal representation on a pro bono basis to individuals referred by ILAS.

Whereas, ILAS is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to low-income residents of Indiana who are unable to afford legal representation; and

Whereas, Attorney is a licensed legal professional in the state of Indiana and is willing to provide pro bono legal services to individuals in need; and

Whereas, ILAS and Attorney wish to establish a formal agreement for the provision of pro bono legal services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. Representation: Attorney agrees to provide pro bono legal services to individuals referred by ILAS in accordance with the ethical rules and guidelines governing the legal profession in the state of Indiana.

2. Scope of Services: The scope of services to be provided by Attorney shall include, but not be limited to, legal advice, representation in court proceedings, and any other necessary legal assistance as determined by ILAS.

3. Duration: This Contract shall remain in effect for a period of one year from the date of signing, unless terminated earlier by mutual agreement of the parties or as required by law.

4. Indemnification: Attorney agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ILAS from any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to the provision of pro bono legal services under this Contract.

5. Governing Law: This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Indiana.
